Grant Disbursement to the Communities of Ovalau Island in Levuka

The Ministry of Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry handed over the second round of Multi-Ethnic Grant Disbursement to the communities of Ovalau Island in Levuka today.

While handing over the grants to 5 communities, the Minister, Hon. Charan Jeath Singh, alluded that the government has not forgotten anyone and will continue to assist communities to ensure the well-being of all ethnic communities.

“I want to reassure you that you have not been forgotten and will not be neglected under this coalition government. One of our core mandates within the Ministry is to ensure the well-being and support of all ethnic communities,” he said

Minister Singh reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering inclusive development, ensuring that all communities, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds, have equal opportunities to thrive and progress.
