Today marks the very special day in the Hindu calendar, the birth of Lord Krishna. As we all gather for the final night that marks the birth of Lord Krishna and celebrate his profound teachings and values of life, I take this opportunity to wish all Fijians celebrating this spiritual occasion in Fiji and abroad.
Krishna Janmashtami provides an opportunity to reflect and rejoice with our culture, most importantly to celebrate and share the values that Lord Krishna imparts. May his teachings guide us all towards a life filled with peace and harmony as we celebrate this occasion and embrace the virtues of Lord Krishna and honor his divine presence.
